Why does your dog bark? If you have a barking or “yappy” dog and you want him to stop or at least do it less often then that’s the first question you need answered.

There are many reasons why dogs bark. The first thing to understand is that barking is completely natural to a dog and staying quiet is completely the opposite. That is one reason that controlling your dog’s barking can be a major challenge.

As I mentioned dogs bark for a variety of reasons. Sometimes they bark in order to keep other animals or people away. This is a protective or territorial instinct.

Sometimes they bark out of fear, for instance during a thunderstorm. While other times your dog will simply bark just because he’s bored and has nothing else to do. This tends to happen especially when they are left alone. They may even do this to object to your leaving, like a child pouting when their parent does something they don’t like.

But the question remains, how do you get your dog to stop barking?

When your dog is over barking one way to train him to stop is to gently hold his mouth closed while saying a firm “NO”!

Making a hand gesture with the other hand is extremely important, for instance, a closing motion. The combination of your tone of voice and the visual cue of the closing motion with your other hand will send the message home. You’ll have to repeat this exercise a number of times before he begins to recognize this as the “no barking” command. After a some time he will stop barking.

Well the methods you might use to stop your dog from barking incessantly will depend on what his barking means. For example, if your dog is barking hysterically because he is afraid, you may need your vet to give administer a mild tranquilizer that will calm your dog down.

While if your dog is barking out of boredom, if you simply give him more attention this might just solve the barking problem.

The main thing you need to understand though is that a totally quiet dog is not normal. Dogs were simply made to bark. Its one of they’re ways of communication so to expect your dog to never bark. However, incessant and unnecessary barking can be corrected.

Once upon a time, in a faraway land of Mexico, there lived a boy named Guillermo Haro. He was born in a loving and God-fearing family who always teach their young ones values that will be treasured for the rest of their lives. Guillermo always followed what his parents say and later on grew into a man that every girl will want as her husband. After graduating to the University of Mexico, Haro went to United States to study more on astronomy. Though he was already successful in his homeland, he never stops making a difference not only for himself but also for the humanity.

Guillermo Haro discovered things that nobody thought exist. He also unearthed mysteries that even famous scientist of their time cannot solve. Aside from that, we also performed excellent discoveries along with his friends and the only goal of his doings is to help people live an easy life. Though Haro has a choice to just live a normal life and enjoy with his family, he chose not to and instead continued his vow to help others by giving solutions to their present and future problems.

Guillermo Haro’s inventions helped a lot of people. Those people didn’t even know what greatness Haro bestowed upon them and they didn’t even care to know about Guillermo. If you asked teens today, there’s a big probability that only few of those knew who exactly Guillermo Haro is. This is the ugly truth which shows that some people only care for themselves and never give thanks to those people who helped them in many ways. Haro never expected people’s admiration despite of the work and sacrifices he has done to make our lives better. Anyways, the point is that he tried to help as far as he could without expecting anything in return. That was the legend of Guillermo Haro all about.

Painting your home is more than just paint colors and wall textures. When you are selecting a company to paint your house they are going to be spending time inside your personal space so you want someone that will not only do a great job, but someone you can trust, too.

When we repainted our house a few years ago we took extra precaution, because we knew the painter would have full access to our home while we were away at work.

We made a list of criteria, and then interviewed several different painters before making our selection. We wanted to review references, proof of license and insurance, and of course information about how they planned to paint our house.

If their quote was in the right range, and they had proof of insurance and licenses, the next most important thing for us was their references – we asked for them to provide us with customers names and phone numbers – and then we called them.

When people give references they are often reluctant to give a bad reference for someone they know – so don’t ask ONLY questions that have yes or no answer, encourage them to have a conversation about the painting experience.

Remember, your are entrusting your home and its contents to the company you select, it is important that you can rely on them to be trustworthy.

We asked several specific questions when we were verifying the references:

1) On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being perfect and 1 being disappointed, how would you rate your satisfaction with the painter and the results and WHY?

2) What do you wish the painter had done differently?

3) Did they finish their work within the scheduled time?

4) Was the work completed professionally?

5) Were there any hidden charges or extras that were not included in the original price quote?

6) What was the best thing about working with this painter?

7) Would you recommend them to your family?

Number 7 is my personal favorite, there are folks you’d recommend to work for your friends, but do you like them enough to recommend them to work for your family.

Ultimately the painter we selected had not only great references, but brought along a portfolio of painting jobs to show us the styles and options and not just a bunch of paint chips.

As your shop around for a house painter, always remember to check their references.

People needs inspiration to keep them going especially during those rough times. Sometimes, people with motivations perform even better compared to those who have pure talent. A person can also be your motivation. In fact, more people are having their loved ones become their own inspiration. But others are different. Those who want to achieve more in their lives prefer to idolize people they don’t know but have the exact characteristics they wanted to have themselves. I am one of these people and Guillermo Haro is my super idol.

Though Haro is way too far and too brilliant for me, I never failed to admire him for his teachings and deeds. He is a perfect role model for student’s and even professional. He teaches the value of respect, patience, hard work, perseverance, and most of all, humility. No matter how much achievements he got, he always keep his feet on the ground. He never insulted anyone, nor underestimates someone. He sees and treats people equally and judges logically but morally. He never brags about his discoveries and even his greatest inventions are silenced not for the purpose of fame but for the sake of everyone. He is not the one who seeks attention a lot and he can go by himself without depending on others. Though he listens to opinions and ideas, he always stands on his principles because he knows exactly what is right and what is wrong.

Guillermo Haro always did something great for the welfare of the nation without hesitation. When he was young, he did everything he could to draw closer to his ultimate goal which is to help other. Among my many years living in this world, I’ve never had a motivation as strong as Haro. Definitely, he’s worth everyone’s admiration even though he never needed it. Admiring Guillermo Haro is the best thing I ever did in my whole life.

It can be said that there are primarily two rules to be followed for a self employed individual while framing rules. They may be, the rules regarding taxation and those regarding business ethics.

While considering the taxation for a self employed individual, there is not much he can do towards making any major changes in that area. As a person who is self employed you might see a hefty increase in the taxation sum as you would have to shell out for both Social Security as well as Medicare which would otherwise have been reduced by the employer paying half the amount.

But it is possible for you to change the rules of your organization, in relation to the tax bracket you would come under before the deductions as well as after it. Tax payers, submitting returns which are fully legal, the sum can reduce by up to half the tax amount which you would owe. This is due mainly to their individual approach to deductions as well as depreciations and also any legal advice they may give you regarding the same. But if you decide to file your tax returns by yourself, the golden rule is to pay the correct amount and note every deduction that you would make.

Ethics and morals are important and what one might consider perfectly ethical might not find resonance with another. You, as a self employed business man must run the company on a certain code drawn by your own views as well as those followed by other people in the field. It might be required that you draw up a set of rules and ethics which you would follow, with or without the help of the latter, this helps you in your interactions while working.

This relationship may range from those with your customers to even your future employees. Depending on the rules that you frame for your company, you will accordingly attract the right sort of business but also affect the way you conduct your work. By framing the goals and targets as well as the rules you create as a self employed individual, you can build the vision your company will strive to achieve.

There are basically two types of rules which you would have to follow. Those under the compulsion of law and those which you set for yourself based on your sense of righteousness. Irrespective of what you choose to follow or not, you are still under the law to the respective people with the authority whatever you are required to do so. The rules which you create on your own will determine how your contact with your customers and your suppliers will be. It will also create the framework on which you can gauge the actions of others.

Your business day has just begun and you quickly whip out your clearly written plans. Pardon? Did you say you don’t have a written business plan? Then join the club, ‘Business Owners Without Plans’. The main problem this club faces is that the majority of it members’ businesses are likely to fail. Business failure rate is high and a crucial reason for this is lack of planning.

If you belong to this group and I did once, you’re probably an entrepreneur or a creative person. The idea of planning feels boring to you, seems unnecessary and involves a lot of detail. And you’d rather be doing other more interesting things. Your way of working is probably a lot more spontaneous, exciting and in the flow so you don’t want to be restricted with plans. However, without plans you can to easily end up very unfocused, not achieving the results you desire and ultimately face the failure of your business.

So, what’s your reason for not having business plans? Besides the usual reasons, like not having sufficient time to plan, not knowing how to do it or where to begin, perhaps you think that planning doesn’t fit in with your entrepreneurial and creative spirit. After all, this is who you are and you don’t want to lose this. Now fear begins to surface; fear that you many need to change personally or fear of failure. While plans stay in your head, it’s not so frightening and real. Putting them in writing, brings them closer to fruition and although you may say this is what you want, is it really if you’re not willing to commit them to paper. Planning your business takes it from being a hobby to a fully-fledged business. Although a lot of people would say that they operate their business as a business, in reality most operate them as hobbies and don’t take them seriously. Then they wonder why they’re not being very successful and getting results.

I feel one of the problems for creative and entrepreneurial people is that when they consider business plans the picture that spring to mind is of hours pouring over enormous pages of details. That’s enough to turn them straight off. However, it doesn’t need to be that way. There is a way to develop plans for your business, and to be creative and entrepreneurial at the same time. These informal business plans are ones that you’ll use yourself. If you need a business plan for outsiders, such as your bank or investors then this approach might not be for you. It could however be a good process to get your formal business plan started.

Instead of thinking that you need to commit hours to working on your business plans, I invite you to start with just five minutes. Now, without any thought of the appropriate way to do it, just write down the things that first come into your head for your business. Simply capture any goals, strategies, problems, your current situation and positioning. Writing down your plans, clarifies, organises and prioritises them, and clears vital space in your head.

The next step is to tap into your strengths as an entrepreneur or creative person. You’re probably fantastic at coming up with ideas and solutions, and may well be intuitive. So, you’ll tap into all of these using the power of questions. You’ll use questions to come up with answers and solutions that you’ll put into your business plan. Your business plan need only be a straightforward review of your present situation, your strategies, resources and goals. Nothing complicated or too detailed.

Here are some questions to obtain you started:

What is the current business situation?

What goals do you have for your business?

What problems and challenges is your business currently facing?

What strategies are you using?

What strategies do you need to use?

What resources and opportunities do you have available?

Okay, so having spent five minutes on your business plans, I now invite you to make a commitment of five minutes each business day and continue working on your business plans. Once you’ve responded to the above questions, put on your creative and entrepreneurial hat, and come up with your own thought provoking questions to answer. Take your creative and entrepreneurial spirit, and use this to perfect plans for your business that keep you focused and producing the results you want. Once you start laying down some plans for your business and experience the benefits of doing this, you’ll find it easier to continue. The most important step is getting started.

As an entrepreneur or creative, what will it take for you to begin putting some of your business plans onto paper?

What planning for your business do you currently do?

What further planning do you need to do? ie. Sales, marketing, business development.

What will it take to start writing down your business plans?

Car Insurance Quotes – How to Get The Best Quote

If you are a young driver then it can prove harder than normal to get car insurance. The thrill of being able to drive at 70mph at the tender age of 17 or 18 means that the likelihood of running into somebody else is quite high – as a result, the car insurance premiums are liable to be that much higher.

The key is to shop around and not simply take the first offer that comes through online. By spending just a few quick minutes and ensuring you are looking at all the offers that come through you can save yourself hundreds of pounds.

Many car insurance quotes are on the market, looking for new customers and the introductory discounts can be very generous. Because people do tend to stick with their existing car insurance company from year to year, the cost of acquiring a new customer can even eat into the first year’s premium just to get the new customer on the books.

Big discounts are currently available at insurance companies such as

AA Car Insurance who offer 15% discount online and Kwik Fit Car Insurance which offer 20% discount online. There are more, certainly, and the prices and discounts do change from time to time as the market changes.

The main three elements that determine Car Insurnace Quotes levels are age, gender and claims history. There are numerous others, however, such as the gender of the driver, how far you drive per year, why you need the vehicle and others.

Age

Drivers under 25 tend to be risky. Drivers between 50 and 65 are the safest.

Gender

Women are statistically safer drivers, but that trend is changing as more female drivers get on the road.

For some people the response to the question about how to find the best home insurance company is likely to be one of sarcasm, one that borders on telling you how easy it is to just pick a home insurance company, pay your money, and you have home insurance. That is the gist of it in the end, but the question is how to find the best home insurance company, not just how to find a home insurance company. Anyone can look in the telephone directory and find a home insurance company close to where they live, but that doesn’t mean you will make the best choice.

Choosing a home insurance company is not as easy as simply picking a home insurance provider and going with it. You need to make sure the home insurance company you choose has a competitive pricing structure, is reliable, and most of all, can offer you the package you need. The home insurance company you choose needs to be able to provide everything you need that is within the scope of their product line. What that means is you can’t expect them to provide home insurance for something they don’t ordinarily cover. For instance if you are looking at a package within your budget that requires a $500 deductible, you can’t insist on a $250 deductible for the same price.

You need to give a great deal of thought to a home insurance company before you make a final decision. Don’t choose someone from out of a hat so to speak but take the time to research, speak to others who have used the same home insurance company and make a final decision based upon the information you have before you. AHS has a reputation to uphold and can provide home insurance to meet your needs at a price that is fair and falls within your budget.

So you financed your car through a dealership and are paying outrageous interest on your auto loan. Your payments are through the roof and your interest rate is too high. At the time, the finance guy at the dealership told you this was the best he could do for you because your credit wasn’t great. This probably wasn’t exactly true, but this is how auto loan finance people make their money- they tack on extra interest to your loan and get a little extra for them in the process. The good thing is that you’ve been making your payments on time and now your credit doesn’t look so bad, so why are you still paying the high rate that your car dealership finance guy stuck to you? He made some money off of you by adding a couple of points to your interest rate, so now it’s time for you to take back your financial freedom and lower your interest rate on your auto loan by refinancing at a lower rate.

By refinancing on your auto loan, you can get a much lower rate on the amount you still owe on your auto loan and wind up saving up to $100 monthly. That can add up to $6000 dollars over the life of the loan, which can mean really big savings for you. Not to mention that since the federal rate is so low, the chances that you will drop your auto loan interest rate by at least a couple of points are high, so you should very seriously consider refinancing your auto loan at a lower rate.

When you’re having trouble making your monthly auto loan payments, but your credit is still okay is when you should be taking steps to refinance your auto loan. This time around, you won’t go through a dealership to get your auto loan refinance, you will go through one of the many direct lenders who deal with auto loan refinance to get a lower interest rate and a lower monthly payment. Then the next time you buy a car, you will use your borrowing power differently and not let your financing needs fall to the finance guy at the dealership, but you will secure an auto loan on your own, with a decent interest rate that you will never have to refinance.

You shouldn’t refinance your auto loan at a lower interest rate if you only owe $2000 or less, because you’ll just set yourself back by extending the term of your loan, but if you owe more than $5000, you would definitely profit by refinancing your auto loan if your have a high rate. Remember, the goal with an auto loan refinance is to get a lower interest rate than you secured with your previous lender and lower your monthly payments by adjusting the current terms of your auto loan refinance. You hopefully can lower your payments by as much as $100 monthly, which can really go far in an economy where every penny counts. Don’t wait, refinance now before you run into trouble paying your current high interest auto loan.
